YouTube argues for more business support and funding for EU creators

YouTube has published a “proposal for unlocking the EU Creator Economy”, which argues that its community of creators in Europe should be treated more like small businesses, given access to the same EU funding (like the Creative Europe programme, or tax incentives) as established media companies, and that its recommendation engine is a fair, open marketplace where European viewers decide what they want to watch.
