Landr bundles audio mastering, plugins, samples, digital audio workstations, and live video collaboration in plans starting at Studio Essential. It’s a unique offer you won’t find with any other distributor.
It also allows artists to keep their music in stores when they cancel or can no longer afford to pay by dropping their revenue split from 100% to 85% and retaining 15%.
Artists have a lot of good things to say about Landr's customer support, which separates it from all other distributors at a similar price point.
You're provided access to Bundles starting at Studio Essential, priced at $99 annually. With the Studio Essential, you get Unlimited Masters, Samples, Plugins, courses, and more. The Unlimited Masters you get with Studio Essential are in MP3 format. Landr doesn't accept MP3 files for distribution; it only distributes WAV files. You get unlimited masters in an unusable format. The bundles really start at the Studio Standard plan, priced at $143 annually.
Due to selling samples, Landr has a very aggressive audio recognition system that catches anything it thinks is unauthorized use. If your song is accused of containing a sample, you’ll be restricted from distributing that release until you provide proof of having the right to use the sample.
Landr’s core business is audio mastering, and it expanded that business into a sampling and plugin library, live streaming app, and marketplace for industry professionals. On top of that, it added distribution. When you visit Landr, the first thing you see is “Your one-stop music production powerhouse” not a pitch for music distribution. It is constantly trying to figure out ways to leverage distribution to sell its core products, so the plans change every few years. What you sign up to get today could, very well, not be what you get tomorrow.
Because distribution isn't Landr's core business, there's less of a commitment to being the best distribution company.

You won't be mad at yourself for picking Landr. All the things that make it special come with plans that are a bit pricey compared to other options, but those other options don't come with those features. Quality customer support is a standout feature for their lower tiers because that's a major pain point for other budget distributors. Landr offers unlimited distribution to a large inventory of stores for a flat annual fee, with the ability to keep music in stores if you cancel or can no longer afford to pay. Keeping music in stores is another key benefit of its distribution service. Even without the Bundles, Landr holds its weight. If you're a self-recording artist or producer, its sample and plugin libraries with its mastering service add a lot of value, and you can't beat the offer. Tunecore, CD Baby, Distrokid, and all other distribution companies don't compare to Landr's bundle of services. The issue with Landr is that distribution isn't its core business. Artists who find success won't find any support to grow.
